Description

Built on a commission, this PzIII Ausf J (early) was finished with the same multi-layer multi-medium technique as the Bv141 (nixod321.deviantart.com/art/1-…) with an Enamel Dark gray serving as the insoluable base for the soluable Tamiya Desert Yellow. The tracks are MetalCote Gunmetal, and the silver scratches are MetalCote silver. The tank received several small modifications, notably the supplies on the back (Hasegawa Field Camp kit) held in place by a sheet plastic back. The Extra wheels were snapped off an old decrepit Airfix StuG III (which was an awful kit), and the Helmets and boots come from cut up US figures. The extra front armour is sheet plastic, as is the racks that hold on the extra tracks (which come from an old Panther kit). The painted Nazi flag was done by hand, but the Swastika was a decal. A very thin coat of white Acrylic over the top surfaces helps it look "deserty".

Might not be exactly "stock" enough for "stockbuildersnation", so remove feel free to remove it from that group if you want.
